Protect your plancha plate from the elements with ease with one of our rainproof covers. We recommend storing both our solid oak rings and grill attachments indoors when not in use. However, Large Wooden Ring Covers are also available, which accommodate the rings and are suitable for shorter periods and moderate climates.

The Firenza’s fire bowl is made from Nero black powder-coated steel. Its plinth base comes in either Nero black powder-coated steel or Corten steel depending on model. These materials are extremely resistant to corrosion. With the grill and solid oak ring removed, and appropriate steps having been taken to protect the plancha plate, the Firenza can be left outdoors for extensive periods without weathering.

The protective layer of corrosion on Corten bases of the Firenza will only be partially developed upon delivery. During the first 3-6 months, while this protective layer finishes developing, Corten corrosion may leave stains on skin, clothing, and surfaces. In cases where the Firenza is set up on wooden or composite decking, we suggest covering the surface with a non-combustible material. Note that all steel surfaces of the Firenza – particularly the plancha plate and fire bowl – become extremely hot during operation. Additionally, our optional solid oak rings are designed for dining and light food preparation; they are not built to bear loads exceeding 7.5kg
